Educational coaching

There are no magical recipes but there are coaches!

Coaching is the key to unlocking someone’s potential by empowering them to grow, succeed and believe in themselves. Unlike psychological therapy, the coaching process has a fixed start and end date.

In education, the coach becomes the guide that favors personal growth, abilities and skills. Key aspects when it comes to developing in society.

Coaching a student means becoming the tool that will help him/her develop initiative and personal confidence which will help to improve learning.

In educational coaching, the coach and the student walk together so that he/she can seek and find new ways and means to achieve their goal; always working in a context of security and confidentiality. Never judging, interpreting or looking into the past.

When and why does a student need a coach?

No matter the age, students may sometimes need a coach to help them bring out the best version of themselves, by visualizing their goal and planning how to achieve it.

What stages are involved in the process?

    1. Get to know the student and their family and social context in order to create an appropriate climate of trust and establish a commitment to work together.
    2. Identify the starting point: the student’s current situation.
    3. Begin from the student’s current developmental stage, which will allow for the design of a working process aimed at reaching their ideal developmental zone.
    4. Define the objectives and goals to be achieved.
    5. Develop an action plan, in which we will:
-Establish the specific actions needed to implement the work plan.
-Define the necessary timeframe for implementation.
-Determine the resources required to carry out the plan.
    6. Change and learn: learning to change.
    7. Monitor progress and provide feedback.
