What is Choosing to Educate?
This project aims to offer parents and education professionals simple tools to help them face the challenges of raising and educating children both at home and in schools today.
We are a generation of parents facing a very different reality from the one our own parents knew, so their ways of bringing up children often don't work for us anymore.
Nowadays, many families — especially in international environments like this school — live far from their extended family (grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts…), so all the responsibility of raising and educating children falls on the parents. Over time, this can lead to tiredness and stress, and many have probably felt lost or unsure of what to do when certain problems or conflicts come up.
On top of that, we’re now trying to raise children in a way that’s less strict than how most of us were brought up, giving more importance to their needs and feelings. As parents, this can leave us with a lot of questions, doubts, and moments of uncertainty — and that's exactly why this project exists: to offer support, ideas, and practical guidance along the way.

What kind of support is available for mums?
I firmly believe that motherhood is the most amazing process of growth, discovery, change, love and learning that a woman can ever experience. But on the other side, it can also be extremely overwhelming, exhausting and sometimes lonely.
The main reason for working mum-to-mum is because besides my background in education and psychology, I am a mum of four children with a strong desire to help other mums.
I offer you a listening space free of prejudices where I will be able to give you advice and support on topics like:
- Boundaries and tantrums (learn to understand your children’s brain)
- Routines
- Healthy habits
- Screen time management
- Handling family needs
